Thankful Tuesday

So it is that time of the week again and thanks toDenise We have another topic to right on.

So for this week's assignment...

Your topic is:

2008. What have you been thankful for this year??

So in no particular order:

1. I am thankful for my family, they have helped me with so much this year. They have all been there for me, and are just an amazing support system in every single way.

2. I am thankful for Steven, as many of you know we have had our share of ups and downs this year, but i love him more and more each and every single day. He is everything to me, and i hope i get to spend the rest of my life with him

3. I am thankful for all of my friends. They are all so truely amazing in there own ways. They are always there for me when i need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on. I have made many new friends this year, who are also awesome, and unfourtenly i have lost some friends. But in the end the true friends are always there with me

4. I am thankful that i have had my job this entire year, this may sound bad, but in past times i have gotten so bored at jobs that i bounce around from to job to job. And yes i may complain about this one alot but i still love it and am glad to say this is where i work.

5. I am thankful for the house that we live in, it has kept a wonderful roof over our head. And i may complain about some things that happen there, but at this point i wouldn't have it any other way.

6. I am thankful for Piston...As cheesy as it may sound, most of you know, he is like my son LOL and he just brings so much joy to my life. When i get home from work every night, he is SOO excited to see me. I love it

7. I am thankful for the memories that i have from this year. It has been an amazing year, and i know next year will be so much better

8. I am thankful for my heath, I think i really only got really sick 2 times this year, which is AWESOME, cause usually its double that.

9. I am thankful for reconnecting with some old friends, that i have not talked to in years, its crazy how you catch up on things, and then its almost like nothing ever changed

10. Last but not least i am thankful for Ashly giving birth to my nephew Chance. I am just in awe of his, he is so precious. Anytime i am around him, all i want to do is play with him, and just hold him. I look forward to seeing him all the time.

My christmas

I know its a little late, but i thought i would share a couple pictures with you guys from christmas. I had an amazing christmas, I hope everyone else had a wonderful christmas!! So here are my pictures
So here is a picture of Piston curled up in front on the fire on Christmas night, in the bed that he got for christmas. He LOVES fires, anytime Steven builds one and it gets warm Piston always curls up in front of it. So i will go get his bed and blanky and he will sleep there for hours. =-)

Here is Piston and his daddy on christmas morning right after piston got his new bed, and the first thing he did was sniff it for a sec and then curl up in it and go to sleep.

And for my last picture, Piston trying to go to sleep, I am sure in his mind he is saying "Gosh, mom i am trying to sleep dont you know Santa is coming tonight, and i have been a good boy" LOL I love my puppy.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

I hope everyone is having a merry Christmas. I couldn't have asked for a better today. I have spent it with all the people I love and it has been amazing. I hope everyone got everything they wanted!! Look for pictures of my amazing Christmas soon!!!

RIP Crush

So Crush was our Mantis shrimp. He was really cool, His colors were awesome. And when he would kill something to eat it he punched the shit out of it. We all loved having him there. And unfourtenly last night Steven look in his tank and found him upside down dead. Molly and I were really upset. We loved having him here. The guys called him Crush but between Molly and I we came up with the name Tom Brosuff...LOL I know it sounds goofy but we loved him. So here is a picture of Crush a.k.a. Tom Brosuff. We will miss him =-(

So here is Piston and i at home with out 1st semi very own Christmas tree. And i say Semi because we share it with our roommates. Next year when its just the 3 of us, it will be our VERY own tree...LOL And this next picture was not taken this week, but i thought it would be fun to look at a couple pictures from the past. So here is, Bre, Max, Piston and I in the old days where we were out at there house drinking ALL the time, and i actually think this might have been the night, Bre and I got really mad and Steven and Ray for pulling one of Pistons teeth...LOL And last but not least Here is Trina and I at probably the funniest dinner i had my entire Hawaii trip. This little less then 24 hours i spent with them in Hawaii was a blast. This dinner was nothing but laughs and good times. Times that will never be forgotten. So there is my Fun Foto Friday. So i have to choose #5

I know alot of good listeners. One whom would be my BFF Breanna...She is an amazing listner, She is there anytime i need to vent or anything to her. She listen and give me the advice that i may need. She is free for me to call and/or text day and night. And that means alot to me.

And person...well actually its more of a group that listens to me is my family every single member of my family is always willing to listen to anything and everything i have to say. I do have some people in my family who do not like to talk on the phone, but since i don't live very close to them they will talk to me on the phone as long as i want. They are awesome.

My boyfriend will listen to just about everything i say, now if he is actually hearing what i am saying or not is another thing, and yes i do have to compete with his friends and boats, and all those other things. But when it comes down to it and i really need him to listen, he is there, and hears every word i say.

I do have ALOT of other friends that are amazing listeners, i am just not going to list them all, but they all know who they are and i love them all!!!!

Jakeys 14th Birthday

So last night we all went out to dinner for Jake's 14th Birthday. We had sooo much fun. We went to Benihanns in Concord. Dinner was a blast like always, I honestly don't think there is a dull moment at that place. The cheif's are very good about keeping you laughing, and they make watching them make your dinner fun, here is a pic of some of the craizness that went on....Here are the boys eating some of the very good food our chief whipped up for them...I believe its Shrimp. But we had so much fun, At the edn of the night, they sang Happy Birthday to Jake and then took a group picture of all of us....And here it isSo i hope everyone had a wonderful Tuesday night. We are off to get our Christmas tree tonight FINALLY so look for another Blog tomorrow about doing that. I am SoOo excited to finally be getting out tree YAY

Another round of thankful tuesday...Here it goes

1. I am thankful because today i actually got up, got ready and made it to work 20 minutes early. (I have been late everyday for the last 2 weeks)

2. I am thankful that i actually woke up today. Another day on this earth is a blessing, you never know when it could be your last day

3. I am thankful for my Starbucks coffee that is keeping me awake on this chilly morning when i would rather be cozy in my bed, and not working.

4. I am thankful for almost all of my christmas shopping being done, just a couple more things i need to get, And some people i need to figure out what i am going to get them

5. I am thankful for my family checking on me each and everyday seeing how life is going. (They really hate me not living close to them anymore)

6. I am thankful for my friends, each day they bring joy. I love how we can sit there all day and pretty much talk about nothing, but have SoOo much fun

7. I am thankful for Piston, My puppy, he brings so much happiness to my life. Seeing how excited he gets when i come home, just makes my day each and everyday

8. I am thankful for Steven working so hard at changing things in our lives, so that we can continue our lives together

9. I am thankful for my job, With the economy as shitty as it is, I am happy to say i have a job.

10. I am thankful for Jake's Birthday, We get to go celebrate at Benihannas tonight...YAY Happy Birthday Jake

So this is Breanna, Melissa, And I in front of the Christmas Tree in Downtown Vacaville of Tuesday night, A big group of us went down there for the lighting, But of course being young and trying to do too many things at once, we missed the actual lighting of the tree, but we still had a blast visitng with people that we ran into as we were walking around downtown. And Bre and I were drinking our hot chocolate with peppermint scnaaps <---Which i done recommend you try, it didn't taste very good to me at all. But we were drinking those out of our had made travlers mugs, with a college of pictures of the two of us. So that was fun too. Also while we were down there, we ran into Ashly, Lonny and our adorable Nephew. And i just had to take some pictures of him because he was all dressed up in the outfit i bought him, So here is that picture.

But needless to say we had SOO much fun, And we were with people that we love and I can tell its going to be a wonderful holiday season. We are already planning a trip up to Sac to go eat at Hard Rock Cafe and then go Ice Skating. So look for pictures after we do that!!

Since i have sucked at blogging lately...

I figured i would do an extra one today, and update everyone on how life has been going, since i have missed all the blogs in the last 2 weeks...

Life has been well...Life. Things are up and down, and just seem all over the place. I have been spending alot of time with my family, which has been amazing, I have missed them so much. Steven and I are trying to work on our relationship, But it has been very hard on me, and just taken a huge toll on my emotions, my priorities, my thinking and everything. Its such a rollercoaster for me, I almost feel like one day i want to be with him and make it work and the next day i rather be on my own, hanging out with my girls doing whatever i please. Its a horriable feeling, and it tears me up. I feel that i have been hurt for so long. But i love him so much i could never imagine hurting him the way i have been. I love him with everything i have to love, and i am going to try my damdest to make this work like i have always dreamed about.
Anyways on to the next subject, WORK...Ugh who likes talking about work...lol Well its ok, until you bring the the time off for christmas topic, and it gets my blood boiling. So i guess in the month of Nov. the Techs are supposed to make up there time, to have the day after Thanksgiving off and the day after Christmas off. Well no one really did (Which is not my fault because i am NOT a tech) but we are all now getting punished, We have to work a half day on Christmas eve, then we get Christmas off, and then we have to work the Friday after Christmas, What the fuck kind of shit it that. If i am not supposed to be making up time, then why in the hell am i getting punished for it?? Its not like i can go out there and tell them they can't leave because they need to be working over time, because thats just a waste of my time, because they would not listen to me anyways. I think it is completely unfair to everyone in our office. And if we really get punished for it, Then next year i think every single person HAS to work over time, because then if we get punished, it will be fair and not so fucked up.
WOW Talk about venting, I just feel that things in my life are SOOO crazy right now, any advice on what to do would be WONDERFUL!! Thanks

Christmas Lighting

Now that i finally have some pictures up from the Christmas tree lighting we went too Tuesday night, I can FINALLY blog about how much fun we had.

So Tuesday night, Was the night for the big Christmas Tree Lighting in downtown Vacaville. We went last year and i had alot of fun, So we decided to go again this year, except this time we were with a ton of our friends. Heres our gang afterwards at dinner


Other then the fact that it was very cold out, we had so much fun, Bre and I got Hot Chocolate, and all. Here is Bre and I waiting in line at BJ's to get some dinner

And then Britt and I with the Fitness 19 man...This was fun

So after we went to the lighting, we all went to BJs and got some delicious food, and then everyone came back to my house and we watched Step Brothers, Which i have to say might be the greatest movie of all time. They did a wonderful job in it, And we all laughed our asses off until after 11pm. Needless to say, We had a blast. I love you all who joined in.

Happy Friday

So I have not blogged in a while, so i thought it would be a fun time to blog now, since i have been shopping since 4am this morning.

Let me tell you there is nothing fun about shopping at 4am. I love to shop but it is just a little too early for me. And the fact that all the lines wrap around the store and you have to sit in line, 10 times long then you are shopping is crazy.

I was at Kohls this morning by 4:15 and the lines were already to the back of the store. So my grandma stood in line and my mom, sister and i shopped until she got into the front of the line. That store was so crazy, that i almost walked back out, when i first walked in the store.

Next it was on to Wal Mart, which from the parking lot looked like a nightmare. We got into the store shopped for what we were getting, and then actually walked straight to the cash register, Thank god for 10 items or less lines, cause there were no people in them, everyone was buying like a million things.

Then we dropped my grandma and mom off at home, and My sister and I hit the mall, God i never thought i would be there at 5:45am but it was not too bad, I went to Victorias Secret and got some cute sweats and a matching sweatshirt, and then bought a couple more sweatshirts at Finishline, and then bought my little brother some really cute DCs for Christmas.

So i pretty much already have my Christmas shopping done...Except for Steven, and he is always hard to buy for. But i am happy to say that other then that i am done...YAY

Well now i am off to take a nap, i am exhausted, We are going bowling at Noon and I wont be able to function unless i get some sleep cause we stayed up late last night playing cards!!

Time for sleep, Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am having a second Famly Reunion Thanksgiving tomorrow!!!

I have decided to write about Piston..My wonderful Puppy...Piston



He just as a dog as broughten so much happiness to my life. When i come home from work or anywhere else, He is always so excited to see me. It makes me so happy that someone or something is so excited to see me when i get home.



I am so happy to have him in my life. And i can say i will honestly be devasted when i no longer have him in my life.

Seeing that i do not have an husband/significant other I am going to write about..My Grandpa.

1. I am thankful for him raising me to be the person that i am today, without him who knows where i would have gone in life.



2. I am thankful for him standing by my side through thick and thin even when i thought i had lost everything.

3. I am thankful for him, becuase if he wouldn't have pushed me so hard during school, i probably would not have gotten the education that i now have

4. I am thankful for him buying me my car, too make sure that i was safe while i was driving



5. I am thankful for him being the Dad that i never had

6. I am thankful for having him in my life, cause no matter how much i think i let him down or mess up, he is always there to tell me i am his #1 girl



7. I am thankful because he has given me the life, that without him would have never been possible.

8. I am thankful to have such a goofball grandpa that no matter how down and out i am, he can always make me laugh



9. I am thankful for him, because he is part of the family, that keeps me going day after day, And no matter what always aupports the decisions i make in my life, weather its something he agrees on or not

10. Last but not least, I am thankful for having him in life, but he is someone who i can always turn and talk too, and no matter what always has time to listen to my problems, and help me work through everything

I love him with everything i have to love, Not only is he my grandpa but i consider him a father figure.

Hayley Alice Grillo

Today, is a day that is very hard for me, a day i just hate waking up to because i know what this day is. Its a day i will never forget. Five years ago today, i lost my best friend to a terriable car accident. One that was not her fault, but really could not have been prevented. She was driving down a main road in Sacramento, on this rainy night, with her boyfriend going to get some food after she had gotten off work. When she hit a puddle of water, he car statred to hydroplane, and it got to a point where she could not control her vehicle, She cut across 2 lanes of traffic, and then into oncoming traffic, where she hit 2 vehicles. After that she was rushed to the hospital where her and Mike(her boyfriend) were places in the ICU in critial condition. They both had multiple injuries. Mike pulled through and is ok today, Hayley was not as lucky and after being on life support for about a week she passed away. I will never forget the feeling that rushed through by body, when they called me out of class...As i walked to the office a ran into 4 friends of mine and hayleys and i just knew what was coming, It was a very cloudy day and i knew by life was about to fall apart. After they told us we cried alot, lots of tears lots of hugs, we walked outside, and saw that the sky had opened up, and i knew that, that was her leaving us, It just this relaxing feeling knowning that she stayed with all of us until we found out, and then she went on to heaven to watch over us. To this day i remember everything like it was yesterday. I will never forget her.

Sunday in Sacramento

Well i had decided that i needed to get out of town for a little bit, and away from the everyday life i live. I came up to Sacramento to visit my family, and see all of my old friends. I have spent most of the weekend here, and have been having alot of fun. I got up here yesterday around 11 and helped my mom get my little brother ready for his soccer game, we went to that which his team won 5 to 1 YAY Go Brandon. And the after that we took him to Petsmart, to get him a new little set up for fish. He has had 3 golsfish for quite sometime, and as completely devasted this past week when 2 of them died. So we got him his new set up and a Betta fish which ne named Furious because they can not be in the same tank with any other fish. After that we came home set up everything, and then just kinda relaxed, which was nice because i felt exhausted. Then i got up and went to my Aunt and Uncles house to watch the UFC fight that was on last night. Which Brock Lesner won. I was rooting for him. I hung out there for a while with some of there crazy ass friends, and then picked up my sister from some class she is in. And we came home and hung out, i fully planned on going to hang out with a couple girls i went to HS with but soon passed out and didnt wake up until like 3:30 in the morning, which was far too late to be going out, seeing that everyone was long drunk and passed out by now. Now this morning, my mom and i have been hanging out, which is nice because i usually don't get to spend alot of time with her when i come up. Soon we are going to go shopping, and run a couple of errands, and then i will head home to get ready for my wonderful work week ahead, which i don't look forward too, but hey who does. LOL well i am out for now but i will be bak later!!!!

My life..In the words of a depressed young girl

How come when you feel that you life couldn't get any better, and is soo close to being perfect...EVERYTHING just falls apart...In a matter of minutes?? I believe its crazy..and don't understand why it always happens to me. I guess i am to nice, and give into everything too easily, which now i have learned is something that i wont be doing from now on. I am tired of putting my heart out on the line, and it just getting stomped on over and over again. Its not fair to me to be the only one unhappy when he thinks everything is just fine. I want to be happy too, i want to have the wonderful life that i see everyone else having. Just once in my life, i want to be the happy couple i see walking down the street, or the couple who just cant get enough of eachother. Why can't it just ever be me??Well this is def. a good way to vent my feelings, when i feel there is no other place to vent!!!
